Participation rules
Share the wine, protect the person.
BIN 27 Community is an account-member space for thoughtful wine photos and tasting notes tied to an exact wine release. These rules keep it useful without turning a private cellar into a public profile.
Community never publishes your email, cellar, inventory, bottle count, location, cost, or value.
1. Be constructive
Share what you tasted and why it mattered. Disagree with a note, not the collector. Harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, glorification of violence, spam, and targeted humiliation are not allowed.
2. Protect personal information
Do not post contact details, links, access codes, addresses, private conversations, cellar locations, or information that could identify another person. The app screens obvious contact sharing, and moderators may remove privacy-invasive content.
3. Share photos you have the right to use
Post photos you took or otherwise have permission to share. Do not copy product images from a retailer, winery, social account, or search result. Do not misrepresent a different bottle or vintage as the wine linked to the post. Photos containing private information or people who did not agree to be shown may be removed.
4. Keep commerce separate
Community is not a marketplace. Do not solicit direct bottle sales, arrange peer-to-peer alcohol transfers, collect payment, or use a tasting opinion as price evidence. Any Market referral remains a separate, clearly labeled handoff to a licensed provider.
5. Publish deliberately
New profiles and posts begin private. Content shared to followers or Community is reviewed before it becomes visible. Editing approved shared text or replacing its photo returns it to review; moving it back to private withdraws it immediately.
6. Report, block, or step away
Report content that breaks these rules and block collectors you do not want to encounter. Blocking removes the connection in both directions but does not erase a safety report. You can delete your notes or leave Community without deleting your cellar.
How moderation works
Moderators may approve, hide, or remove shared content and may remove a profile for serious or repeated violations. A moderation removal is retained as a minimal safety hold so leaving and rejoining cannot undo the decision. User-authored text is redacted and associated post photos stop being displayed and enter storage cleanup when you delete the post or leave.
